Ticket Machine Case for Protouch
Our client Protouch, a manufacturer of touch screen devices, is manufacturing ticket machines for printing and selling tickets at one of the largest international sporting events. They came to us with a requirement for cases to protect the ticket machines on route to the overseas venues and for use throughout the event. The main unit and supporting laptop were wired into the case allowing the ticket seller to plug straight into the side panel of the case and use the equipment whilst still secured in place.
The main challenge here was allowing enough access to the equipment for changing tickets etc, without compromising on the protection and support in transit. Keeping freight costs to a minimum was also a high priority, so we opted for Astraboard panels in order to reduce the overall weight. As our client was working to a particularly tight deadline we managed to produce the 77 cases within 3 weeks to make sure this was realised.
