The Circle Agency 'Gamestation' for EA Games
This was one of our more unusual projects. Our task was to design and build a mobile ‘Gamestation’ for EA Games through our client The Circle Agency. These units were to be transported around the country and used in the VIP / backstage areas at music concerts and festivals. The idea was to build a case which would house an LCD screen, games console and controllers. The items were fixed into the case offering protection in transit, but upon arrival at the venue it could be opened up, displaying the screen and allowing the public to trial new games releases from EA.
Some interesting features of this case are a universal mounting shelf for 3 different consoles, side windows to display the game being played, and a lockable sliding door covering the consoles to improve aesthetics and security. We manufactured 10 units which have been well received at a number of high profile events across the country.
